Pieris 'Forest Flame'

Pieris 'Forest Flame' is a stunning evergreen shrub prized for its vibrant red new foliage, which matures to pink, creamy white, and finally glossy green. It also produces clusters of small, bell-shaped white flowers in early spring, making it a fantastic choice for year-round interest in gardens, borders, and containers.

Characteristics:

  • Type: Evergreen shrub

  • Growth Habit: Bushy, upright, and slow-growing

  • Height & Spread:

    • Grows 3–4 feet  tall

    • Spreads 2–3 feet 

  • Foliage:

    • New leaves emerge fiery red in spring

    • Gradually turn pink, cream, and then dark green

  • Flowers:

    • Pendulous white flowers (similar to Lily of the Valley) appear in early to mid-spring

  • Bloom Time: March to May

  • Growing Tips:
